Native to southern China, it is known as fuzzy kiwifruit or Chinese gooseberry. The fruits are russet-brown in colour with the inner side being green. They are sweet and tang in taste and contain high levels of vitamin C, vitamin K, vitamin E, folate, serotonin, and potassium. Rich in antioxidants and fibre, they also contain catechins, lutein, and zeaxanthin. Known to have a number of health benefits, kiwi fruit powder is used in the production of many health care and skincare products.
